Wake Up With Paul Konerko's First Home Run With The White Sox
Shout out to WhiteSoxDave. He and I had a talk recently about the players that White Sox fans worship over there on the south side. I was baffled that the White Sox had decided to retire Mark Buehrle’s jersey number. Dude’s a good pitcher, not an all-time great pitcher. Paul Konerko is a no-brainer, though. Second in franchise history in games played (2,268), home runs (432), and RBI (1,383), third in hits (2,292), and doubles (406). Dude’s got a statue of himself in Chicago now, and it all started right here.
