All Jose Fernandez Could Do Was Laugh When He Faced Kenta Maeda
This is great. Classic case of real recognize real. Earlier this week, I was talking about how nasty Kenta Maeda has been in his first major league season, and Marlins ace Jose Fernandez got a front row seat to see just how nasty he is. It’s not exactly John Kruk facing Randy Johnson in the 1993 All Star Game, but pretty hilarious nonetheless. Maeda gave up four earned runs over 6.2 innings to earn his first loss as a major league pitcher, as his ERA on the season skyrocketed to 1.41.
