BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOV) – Police on Tuesday released several 911 calls made by a Belleville woman who called because she couldn’t get alcohol. Police say 36-year-old Shannon White dialed 911 several times on Saturday around 8:30 p.m. to complain her boyfriend would not allow her to drink more beer. “Tonight he took away my beer and I want to drink some beer, and he took away my beer,” White said on one of the calls. “She was obviously intoxicated, complaining that her boyfriend, or whoever he was, he was upset because his dog was missing so in turn he took her beer away and wouldn’t let her have anymore,” said Captain Don Sax. Belleville police said they tried to be patient with White at first. But the calls persisted, even after they went to the house. The last call came just after 11 p.m. “I’m going to bed, but he *#@$ took beer away from me so I’ll get him back,” said White. In the end police had the last word, and a word of caution about misusing the 911 system.
I hate people like this boyfriend. The high horse self righteous drunks. Always telling you you had too much. Telling you to “slow down.” Doing obnoxious shit like “taking away your keys.” Get over yourself pal. Shannon had a hard day. If she wants to slug infinity beer that’s her prerogative. Go stay at your buddy’s house or something if you don’t want to deal with it you lightweight prude pussy.
