Dallas News – Texas Longhorns pitcher Corey Knebel was suspended by the NCAA after he provided urine to a teammate who was worried about failing a team-mandated drug test, according to a source, the Austin American-Statesman reported. The test came back positive when Adderall — which Knebel is prescribed for Attention Deficit Disorder — was found in the urine. Adderall is banned by the NCAA. According to a source, after being pressed multiple times about why he failed the drug test, the teammate, who isn’t prescribed Adderall, admitted to Texas that the urine was Knebel’s.
This seems like kind of an obvious one but I know everybody comes to me for life advice so here it goes anyway. If you’re an athlete and you have a drug test coming up, and you have recently taken drugs, ask a teammate to borrow his piss, BUT, and this is a big but, DOUBLE CHECK to make sure that piss you are getting isn’t also chock full of Adderall. I know it sounds easy but as evidenced by Corey Knebel and his teammate a lot of people can miss this step. It’s a real short convo. Can I borrow your piss? Do you take any prescription drugs that would be illegal for me to have in my system? No? Ok Boom, here’s a dixie cup, drain your dick in it and let’s get back to the diamond. However if the answer is yes move on to one of your dozens of other teammates that don’t have ADD.
