OK Penn State here’s the deal. We really laid a beating on you here at Barstool. And we stand by it 1000%. The people who deserved it got torched. But we also know there are thousands upon thousands of people there who just want to forget about all the shit and just let loose and party like the old days. Just have some fucking fun. And that’s what Barstool Blackout does best. Shows up in the time of need and rages balls to the wall. So with that in mind we will be making the drive to Happy Valley October 23rd to throw down at Levels Nightclub. Your chance to redeem the Penn State name and prove to the world that you’re still down to party with the best of them. That you care more about boozing and hot chicks than old statues. We’re bringing our truckloads of lights and lasers and blacklights and speakers ready to blow the doors off. Tickets go live at noon on Friday. Get ready.

I think that's why the blog said there are "thousands upon thousands" of people at penn state who deserve the party and aren't nutsos. and sorry but that's just how it works. when a large group of kool aid drinking maniacs cast your student body in such a bad light the image sticks. ask the muslims.

Obviously Barstool is run by a big-nosed Jew that will do anything for a few dollars. Barstool has completely bash the university for months (which is cool with me if that's your stance) and then you beg the same kool-aid drinking students for their money for a shitty party. I hope no one shows up at Levels and El Pres gets "Sandusky-ed" in the mens bathroom there

OK so it's either you don't go to college or you go somewhere not as good as Penn State academically, socially, and athletically (before you go nuts, we win multiple national championships in non-football sports every year). And when the twenty freshman rioted, the details had not yet come out regarding Joe Paterno. The issue PSU people have with how we were treated is because it was one sick fuck and four cowards involved. That's a grand total of 5 people out of literally millions of Penn Staters. These 5 people essentially ruined our great school's name while we were just as surprised and horrified as the rest of you. And every day we have to read countless articles about how shitty our school is when that clearly is not the case. We had 4 shitty people and one sick, sick fuck. That doesn't change the fact that we're: a top 50 public university. ranked #1 two years in a row by WSJ in job recruitment a top research institution where breakthroughs in every field of science have taken place we had 19 Olympians. Yes, 19. consistently a top 5 party school. we have the largest student run philanthropy in history, raising over $10 million for pediatric cancer every year. and we also have so far raised over $500k for victims of child abuse, which is never reported. PSU is not defined by 5 people, and we're sick of being dragged through the mud because of them.
