Click Orlando - A 19-year-old hoping to impress football recruiters with a video suffered a broken leg and arm when a daring stunt in Palm Bay went horribly wrong. Palm Bay police said Bladimir Barreto was conscious when he was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center’s trauma center in Melbourne with multiple compound fractures and seriou shead trauma. The graphic video of the attempted stunt shows Barreto standing in the middle of a roadway near Knecht Park and then racing toward a Honda Accord driven by his brother, police said. Barreto tried to jump over the car, but the vehicle clipped himo, causing him to flip several times in mid-air before he crashed to the ground.
I think the prevailing opinion is that this recruiting tape backfired? Well to quote Lee Corso not so fast my friend. I mean do you think college coaches aren’t sick of getting highlights tapes from literally every kid they talk to? Reels of boring runs and passes and catches in boring high school games? Wow, you can make basic football plays, how unique. Give me the guy who can get hit full force by a car going 40 mph right down his throat and not die any day of the week. Video evidence that this motherfucker is as tough as it gets. Bottom line is if you can take a speeding Accord you can shed a lead blocker easy as pie. Safe to say we’ll see Bladimir Barreto with a whole handful of hats to choose from assuming his broken body heals in the near future.
