So this is the hot video du-jour right now. Monster eagle swooping in and snatching up some stupid baby and almost flying him back to his nest on top of a mountain somewhere. Sure you’ll see all your friends sharing it on Facebook and retweeting it with OMG!s and “Nature be crazy!” throughout the day. But here’s the thing. If you knew the first thing about the internet you’d catch the warning signs and know it’s fake in the first view. Choppy CGI. The uploader’s credibility. Shadows or lack thereof. Just basic skepticism. Not going to break it down frame by frame with screenshots because it’s not worth my time but just wanted to arm the Stoolies with the knowledge they need to conquer their social media today. Don’t fall into the gigantic eagle’s trap like this fake baby did. Trust me. Kind of like that “Hello!” football flip video. Just an internet professional’s common sense.
