Augusta- A University of Georgia professor of German was arrested Thursday night by Gwinnett County police after dressing up as a woman and agreeing to have sex with an undercover officer, according to Gwinnett County police Cpl. Jake Smith. Max Roland Reinhart, 65, faces a charge of prostitution after agreeing to give the undercover officer 30 minutes of sexual service for $60. He also is charged with keeping a place of prostitution for renting a room at the Guest House Inn in Norcross, where he and the undercover officer met, Smith said. Contrary to what the charge of keeping a place of prostitution might seem to indicate, Reinhart did not run a brothel, but only sold his services, Smith said. Gwinnett County police found Reinhart, a professor in UGA’s department of Germanic and Slavic Studies, through a website that regularly advertises escort services. An undercover officer met Sasha, who later was identified as Reinhart, Smith said. “He was dressed in a woman’s fishnet body suit,” he said.

Always love getting to observe people I only know from class outside an academic setting.  Totally changes how you view a person. Nothing makes my weekend like seeing the overachieving assholes who do shit like ask questions in a 300 person history class stumbling home drunk in high heels and a slutty dress or pissing in a back alley like regular people do. And it’s not just students I’m talking about, case in point Max Reinhart from UGA.  Teaching German by day, selling dick by night.    I mean this story is honestly one of the least surprising things I’ve ever read. I’ve always said that you have to be a little fucked in the head to become a college professor. You cannot honestly devote your life to studying shit like the syntax of ancient Latin poetry and not be at least a little bit insane. College kids burn off steam by drinking and hooking up, college professors let loose by dressing up in a fishnet body suit and soliciting strangers to bang them in a motel. Whatever floats your boat I guess.  You kind of forget that teachers have a life outside of school too and need to unwind just like college kids.

PS- No way anyone but an undercover cop would ever agree to $60 for 30 minutes. Absolutely sky high. Know your market, bro.
