MaxPreps - Hawaii received a big addition – literally and figureatively – to its 2013 recruiting class when it received a commitment from 350-pound senior David Fangupo. Extremely agile for his size, the 6-foot-2, 348-pound Fangupo carried 75 times for 534 yards and six touchdowns for Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, Hawaii).
Feitelberg blogged this guy last night. Fat motherfucker running 4.1′s all over the field trucking kids into the dirt. Like a hybrid Bettis/Ron Dayne/Michael Turner/Fat Albert. Saban was probably salivating over this bro. Les Miles and Mack Brown beating down his door. Hugh Freeze busting out the caligraphy set and hand writing 134 letters to him. But in the end Hawaii is really the only place a 350 pound running back named Fangupo belongs. Ridin waves, sippin Mai Tais and straight Banzai dropping middle linebackers.
