1. What is the biggest myth about the Big Easy?

Tara - I think the biggest myth about The Big Easy is that there are never any attractive girls/guys there. We definitely have some hotties that come in.

Carla - I’m sure that everyone reading this magazine has heard the Big Easy referred to as the “Big Cheesy”. I know that I have. That is definitely the biggest myth. The Big Easy is an awesome nightclub with a great atmosphere, fun music, an enthusiastic staff, and most importantly great people who come and are always guaranteed a crazy night.

Amy - The biggest myth about the Big Easy would have to be that it is the cheesy place to go. People hate to admit it but they always have a fun here because of the no attitude atmosphere. Everyone has a Big Easy memory…and that’s what keeps people coming back for more!!!!

2. The Big Easy is known for bachelorette parties, from your experience what percentage of girls hook up who are part of the bachelorette parties? Do you think the Big Easy’s percentage of girl’s hooking up at bachelorette parties is higher than normal?

Tara - The Big Easy always has bachelorette parties. I would say that a very high percentage of the girls end up hooking up with someone. Guys I'd have to say you have a pretty good chance of something happening!

Carla - Well, I don’t know if I can give you an actual percentage but, let’s just say that if you are looking for an “entertaining” night then you should definitely come into the Big Easy and get friendly with the bachelorette parties. No, I’m just kidding, but I do think the bachelorette parties come to our club looking for a good time and from what I have witnessed it seems that they always get what they come for!!!

Amy - I’ve witnessed some wild times, but I would have to say about 25%. There is always one girl in charge of getting everyone together at the end of the night. I think bachelorette parties get girls to “let their hair down” more so than they would do regularly. Add that to a fun atmosphere and……….

3. What are the best and worst parts of the alley?

Tara - I think the best part of The Alley is of course The Big Easy, also the steady stream of characters that make their way down there Friday and Saturday nights. The worst part of The Alley is at the end of the night when all the clubs let everyone out at the same time. Hint: Leave a few minutes early.

Carla - The alley is a great place for everyone. There aren’t many places in Boston to go on the weekends and be guaranteed a huge crowd and a great time. I also have to say that the Big Easy has one of the best dance floors that I have seen in Boston!!!

Amy - The best part of the alley is the people. It has a good mixed crowd. People from everywhere come in and have such a good time. Every weekend is unpredictable! The worst part of the alley would be that it closes at 2am. Who wants to leave when they are having such a good time?

4. If a guy is a crappy dancer is he better off trying to dance or just remain on the sidelines?

Tara - I'd have to say if a guy is a crappy dancer give it a try for a while but if your scaring girls away I'd have to say you might want to stay on the sidelines.

Carla - If a guy is a bad dancer and wants to meet girls then he is probably better off standing on the sidelines and hoping that his charm will win over the ladies. (And after they have a few drinks, your chances will be much better.) But, I have to say as a bartender we love to watch some of the guys that come in and try to show off their “moves.” The worst dancers are the most fun to watch!!

Amy - Dance like you are the only one on the floor!!!! If YOU are having fun then who cares what everyone else thinks. The Carlton dance is not so bad….I’ve actually seen it pay off!!!!

5. What is your favorite part of the alley?

Tara - Pizza at the end of the night from The Alley Deli of course!

Carla - My favorite part of the alley has to be the people who work there. The management, bartenders and the rest of the staff are all great. The staff is what makes the Big Easy such a great place to work in and they are also what can make it a memorable experience for the people who come into the Big Easy. Working behind the bar makes my job a different and enjoyable experience every weekend.

Amy - The alley is a good social seen with a great crowd ….you are GUARANTEED to have a good time!!!
