Advice from the lovely ladies of Club Dome in Montreal
1. What advice would you give to somebody trying to get action in Montreal?
Gabby - You’ve got to stay up late. I see so many guys give up too early in the night. If you’re in bed before 2am you’re not trying hard enough. Hooking up is as much about being in the right place at the right time as anything else.
Crystal - I love it when a guy pulls me in close to talk to me and whispers in my ear. It creates sexual tension. Always be touching the girl you’re talking to on the arm or on the wrist. Try and create subtle contact.
Cynthia - Money talks. If you can spend some good old American dollars you’ll be in good shape.
2. Is it true that girls know within 5 seconds of looking at a guy at a bar whether they’d ever hook up with them? Is it possible to win a girl over during the course of a night if originally they didn’t find him attractive?
Gabby - Girls make up their mind whether they’d WANT to sleep with a guy immediately. But that doesn’t mean a girl can’t be won over. It may be harder if a girl doesn’t want to jump your bones right away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t eventually make her want to.
Crystal - Oh yeah. I decide whether a guy has a shot based strictly on looks and then from there he has to impress the pants off of me. Literally.
Cynthia - I make up my mind but it always seems to change the later it gets and the more drinks I have.
3. What percentage of people go out to a bar looking to find somebody they could have a relationship with vs. somebody they can just sleep with?
Gabby - I’d say 100% are looking to hook up.
Crystal - People come from all over the world to party in Montreal. I don’t think long term relationships are what they are coming for.
Cynthia - Everybody is looking to hook up. If something else happens that’s just an added bonus.
4. Do you think it is important for a guy to be able to dance?
Gabby - I don’t think it’s that important, but guys who can dance definitely have an advantage over guys who can’t. Girls automatically think a guy who can dance will be good in bed.
Crystal - Being able to dance is very important. It is the easiest way to impress a girl at a bar because it’s usually too loud to talk. But my advice would be make sure you’re a good dancer before hitting the floor because there is no bigger turn off than a guy who looks like a fool.
Cynthia - It’s a nice bonus but it’s not that big a deal to me. I’d rather date a manly guy than a pretty boy who can dance fancy.
