The Girls from the Kells

The Kells

1. Have you ever gone on a date with somebody you met while working at the Kells? If yes how’d it go?

Shannon – Unfortunately I have. It has never worked out and always makes things awkward the next time they come in.

Melinda – No, because I’m picky about who I give my number to. But I’d be willing if they made a good impression.

Heather – No, but I’ve considered it.

Lex – Yup. It went great.

2. Do you think buying random girls at a bar a drink still works? If yes, what drink would you suggest a guy buys her? If no, what would you suggest to break the ice?

Shannon – No. Girls get weirded out when some stranger is handing them a drink. I’d say approach a girl, be sincere, but if he gives a weird vibe walk away. Nothing is more annoying then a persistent drunk guy.

Melinda - Yes, if the guy is hot enough. I would want a Stoli and Sprite.

Heather – Well I’ve never seen a girl turn down a drink so guys buying a girl a drink can’t hurt.

Lex – Hell no. Be creative.

3. What percentage of people do you think end up hooking up on an average night in Boston and how many of those people do you think regret it in the morning?

Shannon - I’d say about 70% hook up and about 65% regret it the next day.

Melinda – 80% and ½ probably regret it in the AM.

Heather – I’d say about 50% of the people hook up with each other and half of them regret it in the morning.

Lex – More than 80% and 100% of them regret everything.

4. Do you like it when guys flirt with you while you’re working?

Shannon – I like it if you’re cute and tip well!

Melinda – It makes the night more interesting but if the guy becomes obnoxious then it pisses me off.

Heather – Only if they tip well and are hot.

Lex. No way. It’s way too creepy.

5. What’s your favorite part about working at the Kells?

Shannon – The occasional eye candy and of course meeting new people.

Melinda – The staff makes it all worth the while because we all get along and have a blast.

Heather – The staff and the manager.

Lex – Meeting new people.
